You’ve seen, heard of and possibly even tested the benefits of using Argan oil.

People use it for inner and outer beauty and every now and then you hear of a new use for argan oil, like did you know it’ll help you grow your eyelashes?

So…we at Argan Green have done some extensive research to bring you an exhaustive list of everything you can use argan oil for when it comes to outer beauty (yes this time we’re being a bit shallow) and we’ve come up with 22 things you can do with that bottle of liquid gold!

Skin & Body

Stretch Marks

Stretch marks, also known as “tiger stripes”, happens to everyone from pregnant ladies to bodybuilders.

Luckily, because argan oil is so rich in vitamin E it helps to reduce the visibility of stretch marks – even those that have been lingering on your body for quite some time.

To use just apply a few drops in the palm of your hand and massage into the affected area and in 2 – 3 weeks you will notice a definite reduction in the visibility of the stretch marks.

Dry Skin

In those winter months when you’re suffering from dry skin, do yourself a favour and massage in a few drops of argan oil into the affected areas.

The oil works to help balance the sebum production of the skin giving you wonderfully hydrated skin.

Eczema sufferers can rejoice as argan oil is proven to reduce the red rashes and itchiness which is so common with this disease.

After taking a shower, apply a few drops of oil to the affected areas of your skin. Doing this regularly will help keep the itchiness away and reduce the flakiness of your skin.

A part of being human is having a scar or two.

From when you scraped your knee when you were little to your most recent surgery. Most of us have gotten used to it.

Again argan oil comes to the rescue (this stuffs like magic hey!?).

Just apply it twice a day (morning and night) to your scars and watch in a few weeks as it reduces the appearance of even old scars (like the one you have from falling off your bike).

Eyelash Grower

Argan oil gives you longer lashes.

Yes, you read that right. Argan oil gives you longer lashes.

It’s time now for those of us not blessed with lusciously long lashes to rejoice as argan oil can give you some help in that area.

Let’s get down to it. Here is how to use it:

  • Mix 1 drop castor oil with 1 drop argan oil
  • Apply to your lashes using a cotton bud.

Now, a word of advice – this will not instantly give you longer lashes. You need to religiously continue the treatment for at least a few weeks to see a difference.

Natural Eye Serum

The eye is the most delicate part of our face. So we want to keep harsh chemicals very far away from our eyes.

Argan oil being a natural, organic product is perfectly safe to be used around the eyes, and just wait till you hear about the benefits:

  • Reduces fine lines
  • Peps up tired eyes
  • Reduces dullness
  • Anti-ageing

Pretty cool, hey? Who would have thought a natural product can do all that?

All you need to do is massage one drop of argan oil into the skin surrounding the eyes each morning.

Lip Balm

We can’t be done with the face without a little something for the lips right?

I present you with the only natural, non-toxic lip balm you will ever need. Argan oils super moisturising properties come to the rescue again, saving us from dry, chapped lips.

Apply a tiny amount onto your lips, rub in and feel the difference. As with any lip balm you will need to reapply every few hours.

Makeup Enhancer

Give your liquid foundation, bronzer or tinted moisturizer a great glow by adding a drop of argan oil to it. Another benefit is that this setup will keep your foundation from drying out.

Remember that argan oil’s best quality is that it adds hydration to your skin. So take a drop or two in your hands and smooth it onto the face and neck before applying your make up.

Any excess oil?

No worries, just dab with a paper towel to remove the excess.

Split Ends

Most of us have split ends.

So now that we’ve got that out of the way, the question is: can argan oil help?

*Drum roll*…..Yes, argan oil can be used to repair split ends.

After you’ve washed your hair, apply the oil to the split ends and leave it in. Do this regularly and see and feel the difference.

Leave in Conditioner

If you have dandruff or dry scalp then this is the treatment for you.

But if you just want great looking and feeling hair then is also the treatment for you!

Warm 4 – 10 drops of argan oil in your hands before massaging into your scalp (or you could get someone to do this for you so it doubles up as a great head massage). Continue all the way from the roots to the tips of your hair. Then turn your hair and place a shower cap on top.

In the morning, remove the shower cap and rinse all the residue out.

Continue this treatment once a week or if you suffer from dry scalp/dandruff do it twice per week.

You’re on your way out and the last thing you need to do is style your hair with some hair gel. However.

The hair gel pot is empty.

Not to worry, not to worry. I’ve got you covered – argan oil’s got style and by style I mean it can be used to style your hair.

Just rub a few drops between your palms and run your fingers through your dry hair. It’s long lasting and gives your hair a great shine. Now you’re ready for the evening and next time you might just find yourself reaching for your argan oil instead of the hair gel.

Beard Oil

Something for the men. The men with beards to be specific.

Beard is hair, and given all the benefits above for the hair on your head, you might assume that it must have the same benefits for your beard right?

Yes. Argan oil is great for beards – it locks in moisture to give your beard shine, promotes hair growth to give you a thicker beard and as a plus, it seeps from the beard into your skin – giving your skin a nice shine.

Here is how to apply it.

  1. Put 2 -3 drops of argan oil in your palms and rub it to warm it up
  2. Start from the tips of the beard and work your way to the roots.
  3. Massage your beard a bit and that’s it.

Do this daily and your beard will thank you for it.

Note: Beard grooming has grown so popular lately that we have come up with two products dedicated to improving the lives of men with beards: our beard balm and beard oil. These products contain not only argan oil but other goodies as well to keep your beard feeling and looking its best.

Brittle Nails/Cuticle Treatment

If you suffer from brittle nails then you can use a few drops of argan oil onto your nails and massage the oil into the nail, cuticle and surrounding skin. Do this daily and you will see dramatic changes to your nails over time.

For a double dose of goodness, we have a product that combines argan oil with tea tree oil giving your nails the benefits of argan with the antiseptic qualities of tea tree oil.

Cracked Heels

Your feet are the hardest working parts of your body. So they definitely deserve some TLC every now and then, especially your heels.

Cracked heels can be very painful, but if you follow the routine below it may be a thing of the past for you (if you suffer from it often).

Before you go sleep at night do the following:

  1. Exfoliate your feet
  2. Massage a few drops of argan oil into your cracked heels and the rest of your foot.
  3. Put on a pair of soft, warm, snuggly cotton socks.

The socks are to keep the oil contained around the foot area (and to prevent it from seeping into your bed!)

Repeat nightly, and you should see great results in very little time.

As you can see the benefits of argan oil can appear to be magical! I bet you’re thinking of many other uses for this oil – and we’d love to hear what you come up with.

Think of this document as living and breathing that will be extended as soon as we find out new ways of using argan oil – so keep checking back here for new updates.

By the way, if this list has piqued your interest in trying out a bottle of argan oil yourself, go ahead and place an order for either the 20ml or 50ml bottle and your argan oil will be on your doorstep in a few days!
